Luster · EQ
An equalizer with a jeweler’s finish.
Luster draws its spectral contour in champagne light over your live input spectrum — every move is a move against the actual program, never an empty grid.

- Band handles sit directly on the contour
- Your live input spectrum plays behind the curve
- Curve gain read out at the cursor frequency
- Center-zero spectral-tilt meter on the rail
The hero display
Cut the resonance you can see, not the one you remember
The contour runs 20 Hz–20 kHz on a log grid, ±12 dB, band handles sitting directly on the curve, its area softly shaded beneath. Dim behind it, your input spectrum plays live — the Pro-Q lesson, honored: a 2 dB cut lands on the resonance in front of you, not the one you remember from last playback.
Hover the display and the readout follows — curve gain at the cursor frequency, with a live spectral-tilt figure for the whole program. Champagne on obsidian; the finish the name promises.
Beneath the display, the audition rail keeps judgment one click away:
- Bypass
- Delta
- Band Solo
- HQ

Feel-first macros
Eight controls by default
Five program-wide macros shape the balance before you touch a single band; exact values in the chips, typed entry a double-click away.

-
DarkBright
Tilt
The whole program’s balance around a center of gravity.
-
MatteSheen
Air
The very top octave, from dry to lit.
-
LeanRich
Body
The low-mid foundation under the program.
-
SoftForward
Presence
How close the upper mids sit to the listener.
-
FlatCarved
Contrast
How pronounced the curve’s peaks and dips become.
The expert drawer
Bands, phase, mid/side — one key away
Press E and the full plugin slides out — Bands (frequency · gain · Q), Character (saturate · phase · smooth), Output (auto gain · width · trim) — each parameter a knob with its exact value in a chip beneath it. The macro band and meters stay live while it is open.
Hidden, never removed: every parameter stays automatable and preset-addressable whether the drawer is open or closed.
- Linear Phase
- Gain Match
- M/S

Truthful by construction
The whole balance, as one reading
The rail carries a center-zero spectral-tilt meter, DARK…BRIGHT, with a live dB figure — your program’s overall balance as a calibrated reading you can watch move while you work.
Suite-wide rule: every moving pixel traces to real telemetry from the plugin’s own DSP. No decorative spectra, no idle animation imitating signal. When nothing plays, the displays hold their calibrated scales at rest — never a synthetic waveform.
