Toneveil · Resonance Suppressor
Remove what hurts. Keep what makes it yours.
Toneveil finds spectral excess as it develops and turns it down—never up. Smooth harsh vocals, ringing instruments, moving buildup, or make room from an external sidechain.

Owner-test build capture — Toneveil Resonance Suppressor v0.4.0
- Reduction-only by construction—the adaptive engine cannot boost
- Resonance, Stabilize, and sidechain-driven Carve workflows
- Delta plays exactly what is being removed
- Zero added latency in both Live and Studio profiles
The reduction field
See every cut against a hard zero line
The field runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with zero at the top and attenuation below. The upper boundary says the contract plainly: no boost—reduction only. A gold line marks the maximum Range, so the processor cannot dig deeper than the limit you chose.
Resonance catches narrow ringing, Stabilize restrains broader moving buildup, and Carve reduces only where an external sidechain needs room. One engine, three ways of deciding what is excess.
Beneath the display, the audition rail keeps judgment one click away:
- Bypass
- Delta
- SC Listen
- Live / Studio

Feel-first macros
Eight controls by default
Five macros cover the musical decision: how much, how narrowly, how quickly, how carefully around transients, and the deepest cut allowed.

-
GentleDeep
Tame
How much of the detected excess is removed. Zero is exact neutral.
-
BroadNarrow
Focus
From wide, gentle control to individual ringing frequencies.
-
SlowFast
Speed
Moves attack and release together to follow the problem musically.
-
SmoothTransient
Preserve
Protects onsets so consonants and drum attacks keep their front edge.
-
ShallowDeep
Range
A hard ceiling on how much any spectral region may be attenuated.
The expert drawer
Sensitivity, limits, timing, and topology—one key away
Press E and the full plugin slides out — Detector (six sensitivity anchors · six regional caps), Timing (attack · release · adaptation · frequency range), Stereo & sidechain (link · M/S · detector input · SC filters) — each parameter a knob with its exact value in a chip beneath it. The macro band and meters stay live while it is open.
Hidden, never removed: every parameter stays automatable and preset-addressable whether the drawer is open or closed.
- Quality Lock
- Loud Match
- External SC

Truthful by construction
Reduction stated as a measured depth
The signal rail keeps Mix at the top over calibrated input/output meters and a dedicated reduction meter from 0 to −12 dB. Delta is the aligned dry signal minus the processed wet signal, so wet plus Delta reconstructs the dry path within the engine’s numerical bound.
Suite-wide rule: every moving pixel traces to real telemetry from the plugin’s own DSP. No decorative spectra, no idle animation imitating signal. When nothing plays, the displays hold their calibrated scales at rest — never a synthetic waveform.
